How It Works

Customer journey

From sign-up to repayment

Everything happens in your FINEXA account. No paperwork, no hidden charges.

Get started
1

Register and verify your email

Create an account with your email and mobile number. You’ll agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy and choose your communication preferences.

2

Apply for a credit line

Enter your PAN, date of birth, address, employment and income. You consent to identity verification (CKYC, Aadhaar-based e-KYC or Video KYC) and to a credit-report check.

3

Credit assessment

Our credit policy runs instantly. You see your pre-qualified limit as soon as you apply. Once your KYC is verified, your offer appears automatically. Larger limits are reviewed by our credit team.

4

Review the Key Fact Statement and accept

If approved, you’ll see your limit, interest rate, fees, APR, late charges, cooling-off period and grievance contacts. You accept by re-entering your password. The offer is valid for 30 days.

5

Shop at FINEXA partner stores

Choose FINEXA EMI at checkout and enter your registered email or mobile number. Type in the 6-digit code we send you, pick an EMI plan (each shows the EMI, total cost and APR) and confirm. No card details, PIN or password needed. The amount is held on your limit until the store ships your order.

6

Your EMI loan starts when your order ships

We pay the store, and your EMI schedule appears in your account. If the store refunds you, your loan is reduced automatically.

7

Repay and reuse your limit

Pay EMIs by UPI or bank transfer from your account page. Each repayment frees up your limit again. You can pay off everything early, with interest charged only up to the payment date.

Good to know

  • A reminder is emailed 3 days before each EMI is due.
  • A late fee applies only after the grace period, and once per overdue EMI.
  • Your repayment history is reported to credit bureaus. Paying on time helps your credit score.
  • New purchases pause while an EMI is overdue, and resume once you’ve paid.
  • FINEXA will never ask for your OTP, PIN or password.
